Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a valued client who is seeking an experienced Chemist / Laboratory Technician to join their team!

General Purpose:
Support Research & Development activities, including chemical process work and analytical testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform product and process development for rare earth and zirconium compounds.

• Develop and apply analytical techniques to ensure product quality and consistency.

• Conduct wet chemistry and instrumental analysis (ICP-MS, AA, BET, ISE).

• Produce chemicals, create batch tickets, and carry out lab experimentations.

• Evaluate feasibility and confirm products meet client specifications.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field preferred but not necessary.

• 5–7 years of relevant laboratory or R&D experience preferred but not necessary.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong knowledge of inorganic and rare earth chemistry.

• Experience with inorganic chemical processes and analytical methods.
