Warehouse Clerk – Production & Shipping/Receiving

 

Location: Hunt Valley

 

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:15-4

 

Pay: $21

 

Job Summary:


The Warehouse Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by working across both the Production and Shipping & Receiving departments. This role assists with product preparation, inventory handling, and the accurate movement of materials to ensure efficient production flow and timely order fulfillment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Production Support

  • Assist with product assembly, packaging, labeling, or kitting as required
  • Supply production lines with materials and components
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Follow production schedules and work instructions
  • Maintain clean and organized production work areas

Shipping & Receiving

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
  • Record inventory transactions accurately in tracking systems
  • Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks
  • Stage completed products for shipment

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

  • Organize and store materials in designated locations
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse, production, or shipping/receiving experience a plus
  • Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and shipping labels
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule

  • Full-time 
  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs
