Here is What You Will Be Doing:

• Perform MIG welding on various materials, including steel, ferrous and non-ferrous components
• Fabricate, repair, and modify parts, assemblies, and custom builds
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, schematics, and technical drawings
• Operate cutting torches, grinders, hand tools, and power tools
• Use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure precision and accuracy
• Assist with rigging and material handling (crane/forklift experience is an asset)
• Operate shop equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters, fixtures, and jigs
• Inspect welds for strength, alignment, and accuracy
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient workflow and production goals

Are you Qualified?

• 2+ year of MIG welding experience (fabrication or industrial welding)
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
• CWB FCAW & GMAW certification
• Experience with forklifts, cranes, or rigging is a plus
• TIG or Stick welding experience is an asset

Physical Demands of the Job:

• Use of welding equipment
• Bending, twisting, pushing and pulling
• Standing for long periods of time
• Hand and eye coordination
• Holding hands in same position for long periods with repetitive motion
