Shift: Weekend (F-Sun 6:30am - 7pm)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our team in producing high-quality magnet powders. In this role, you will operate milling equipment and ensure materials meet precise specifications, contributing directly to our production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety protocols when handling flammable powders, isopropyl alcohol, nitrogen/argon gases, and heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)

• Safely operate overhead cranes and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Prepare and clean mills, powder containers, and workstations according to established standards

• Accurately weigh and load materials into mills

• Operate and monitor milling machinery, including ball mills, jet mills (2:17 and 1:5), particle size analyzers, crushers, and nitrogen purge systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation

• Continuously monitor milled materials for particle size accuracy and quality

• Maintain production rates while adhering to quality standards

• Record and verify production data in ERP systems, logs, and control charts

• Conduct in-process inspections as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience

• Ability to read and interpret part prints

• Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
