We are seeking an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and dependable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filters, brakes, and fluid checks
• Inspect and identify mechanical issues, electrical problems, and component failures
• Complete engine rebuilds, component replacements, and system repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and company procedures
• Operate shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery safely
• Communicate repair needs, timelines, and recommendations to supervisors
• Respond to emergency repair needs when required (if applicable)

 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy‑duty equipment
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports
• Own basic tools (company may provide specialty tools)
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks
