DIRECT HIRE

Manufacturing Engineer
Shift: 8am-5pm

Primary Responsibilities
Process Optimization:

Design and implement manufacturing processes for tube bending, laser cutting, and CNC machining to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Technical Support:

Provide hands on troubleshooting for production floor issues, assisting machinists and operators with machine failures or quality deviations.

Tooling & Fixturing:

Use CAD/CAM software to design and fabricate production tooling, jigs, and fixtures that ensure part consistency.

Project Management:

Lead capital projects from inception to installation, including selecting new machinery and defining layouts for workflow improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

Champion lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S and Kaizen, to reduce lead times and production costs.

Documentation:

Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, routing sequences, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) documents.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC machine programming. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Experience with metal fabrication processes (tube bending, robotic welding, and laser cutting).
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for up to 8 hours on the manufacturing floor and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
