Position Summary

Express Employment Professional's is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain and optimize punching and stamping dies
• Perform die spotting, fitting, and formability improvements
• Conduct routine die maintenance including cleaning, sharpening, and inspections
• Operate machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to repair and modify tools and dies
• Recommend parts and tool orders as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance and equipment performance
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics
• Experience working with metal sheet processing equipment preferred
• PLC knowledge desired
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
• Proactive mindset focused on preventive maintenance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented with a “can-do” attitude
