Job Full Description

Our client is stamping manufacturer in Euclid looking for a TOOL & DIE SETTER.

• Pay is $23-$25/hour depending on experience
• This is a first-shift position, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• This job is Euclid, OH

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Set presses and fixtures

• Load coils of sheet metal onto the presses

• Load stamping dies onto the presses

• Inspect products for quality assurance

• Use precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure products are made to specification

• Troubleshoot issues with equipment 

• Assist operators as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace 

• Set work areas by moving raw materials or components pieces to stations 

• Sign in operators for their daily tasks by, evaluating safety equipment, instructing on proper operation of job

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-3 years Stamping or equivalent Die Setter Experience 
• 5 years in a manufacturing environment 
• Basic Print reading
• Mechanically inclined
• Familiarity with stamping machines, 35 ton to 400 ton punch presses, both single hit and automatic
• High School diploma or GED
