Site Superintendent - Full Time, Permanent
Location: Guelph, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00 pm

Express Employment Professionals Guelph is currently hiring on behalf of a local construction company for an experienced Site Superintendent. This is an ideal role for a candidate that has extensive experience in institutional and commercial construction projects and is looking for a long-term career opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project manager, architects and consultants
- Supervise job site and ensure subtrades are completing their scope of work in a timely manner and meeting standards
- Understand all project plans, specifications, shop drawings for the project
- Implement adherence to construction site safety standards, ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times for all staff
- Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the construction duration
- Communicate with suppliers and sub trades throughout the job
Requirements
- General carpentry skills, Knowledgeable in all areas of ICI construction
- Must be able to interpret architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications
- 5 + years of experience in Site Supervision
- Trades/carpentry apprenticeship or post- secondary preferred,
- Must be experienced with hand & power tools used for rough carpentry
- Must be willing to be hands on in role, installing door frames, windows etc.
