Position Overview
The Manufacturing Specialist monitors and operates production kettles used in industrial grease manufacturing. This role involves handling chemical raw materials, staging and pre‑weighing ingredients, following precise formulations, and using computerized process controls. Candidates must be comfortable working around high heat, pressure, and occasional chemical exposure.
Key Responsibilities

Manage raw materials from receiving through production

Stage, pre‑weight, and add materials according to defined procedures

Operate, monitor, and shut down manufacturing equipment

Perform in‑process testing and record accurate inventory transactions

Clean kettles, lines, and work areas per safety and quality standards

Identify and report mechanical or material issues
What You Bring

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Comfort with technology and computerized control systems

Basic math competency

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move 55‑gallon drums

High School diploma or GED required

Experience in chemical or petroleum manufacturing preferred
Work Environment
This role involves exposure to high temperatures, moving equipment, and occasional fumes. Hearing protection and fitted respiratory masks may be required. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling are part of daily operations.
