Forklift Operator

Our Client in Cedar Rapids is looking for a Forklift Operator!

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is forklift-only and focuses on safely and efficiently loading and unloading trailers while supporting daily warehouse operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a standard sit-down forklift (Yale and Mitsubishi)
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and accurately
• Stack and organize materials throughout the warehouse
• Perform pre- and post-operation forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
• Report to the shift supervisor for daily work assignments
• Coordinate with supervisors to empty full containers and trash bins throughout the facility
• Monitor equipment condition and report issues to minimize downtime
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times

 

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Experience with sit-down forklifts
• Ability to safely load and unload trailers
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Certification can be completed on-site

 

Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Pay:

• $19.00 per hour
