Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery and construction equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and comfortable working in the field or shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, forklifts, etc.)

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections

• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems

• Repair or replace defective parts and components

• Maintain service records and documentation

• Follow safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience required

• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines

• Ability to read service manuals and schematics

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions

Schedule:

• Full-time

• Day shift (overtime/on-call as needed)
