Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for Service Tech openings in North Branch, MN. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and repair work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay & Schedule

Hourly Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

Location: North Branch, MN

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly operations following Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings, BOMs, wiring schematics, and related documentation

• Troubleshoot equipment returned for repair, including electrical, hydraulic, and structural issues

• Self-inspect and evaluate product quality before moving items to the next stage of fulfillment (critical for service and repair)

• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S guidelines

• Support additional business operations such as final assembly or other cross-trainable tasks

Qualifications

• Ability to reason and make critical decisions

• Ability to operate equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts (training provided)

• Mechanically inclined with strong “wrench work” skills

• Strong communication, teamwork, and safety awareness

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow documentation accurately

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs (cranes available for heavier lifting)

• Frequent bending, twisting, and turning

• Extended periods of standing

• Strong hand dexterity, gripping, reaching, and fine motor skills

Equipment Used

• Overhead cranes and forklifts (training provided)

• Standard ratchets and wrenches

• Pipe and crescent wrenches

• Drills and impact tools
