Customer Service Representative

$20–$21 per hour | Monday–Friday | Full‑Time

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a local company in need of strong administrative and customer support. This role requires excellent communication, data entry accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable handling purchase orders, sales orders, and frequent phone and email communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying solutions and products to meet their needs
• Discuss features and benefits of available products and services
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers
• Collect customer feedback and support continuous service improvement
• Coordinate delivery requests to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist with branch sales planning and merchandising needs
• Determine customer needs and recommend appropriate products, including upselling when applicable
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails professionally and promptly
• Accept and process customer payments, applying them to the correct accounts
• Arrange with the warehouse for customer pickup orders
• Reorder products to maintain adequate stock levels
• Address and resolve customer service concerns as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong data entry accuracy (purchase orders & sales orders experience preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Comfortable answering phones and assisting customers on multiple channels
• Experience with order processing, customer accounts, and basic office software
• Team‑oriented, reliable, and customer‑focused

• Monday–Friday
• $20–$21 per hour
