2-Way Radio Service Technician

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Two-Way Radio Service Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position with paid training provided. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and willing to learn radio communications systems and tower work. As training progresses, employees will have the opportunity to attend tower climbing school, with corresponding pay increases.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Testing, adjusting, repairing, assembling, and installing two-way radio transmitting equipment
- Installing radio equipment and accessories in vehicles and facilities
- Troubleshooting radio system issues and performing routine maintenance
- Assisting with antenna, tower, and site installations (after training)
- Maintaining accurate service and work records
- Following safety procedures and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Mechanical or technical aptitude preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Willingness to work at heights and attend tower climbing school
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Prior radio, electronics, or communications experience is a plus, but not required

- Pay increases as skills, certifications, and responsibilities grow
Physical Requirements
This position may require standing, climbing, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Pay Range:
Starting at $20.00 per hour, with increases as training is completed and upon successful attendance at tower climbing school
Schedule:
Full-time | Monday–Friday
