Saw Operator – Manufacturing | NW Milwaukee, WI

A growing manufacturing company in Northwest Milwaukee is seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for accurately cutting materials to specification using industrial saw equipment. We’re looking for dependable candidates with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate industrial saws (Duall, Ellis, or similar) to cut materials to exact measurements.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, production prints, and tolerance requirements.
• Set correct stops, guides, and measurements to ensure precise cutting.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on saw equipment.
• Maintain accuracy using a tape measure down to 1/32" increments.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist production team members as needed to support workflow and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience operating Duall or Ellis saws (or comparable industrial saws).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and stand for long periods.
• Experience reading tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and understand dimensional tolerances.
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and detail‑oriented.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in metal fabrication, machining, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with saw setup, blade changes, and preventative maintenance.
