Property Manager – Multifamily Community

A well-established multifamily housing community is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations and lead an on-site team. This is a rewarding, full-time opportunity for a motivated professional with strong leadership, leasing, and customer service skills who is passionate about creating an excellent resident experience.

This position is full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend availability as needed.

  • Pay/Salary: Up to 60,000/year

Job Duties:

  • Oversee daily operations of a multifamily residential property.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and direct on-site staff.
  • Lead leasing, marketing, and resident retention efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and staff.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and prioritize staff workloads.
  • Resolve resident concerns with professionalism and a solution-focused approach.
  • Manage financial operations including rent collection, deposits, reporting, and budget adherence.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with established financial guidelines.
  • Lead the on-site team to meet operational and performance goals.
  • Participate in required meetings and management conferences.

Requirements:

  • Previous property management experience required; strong leasing/sales background preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage an on-site team of approximately six staff members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience using property management software preferred.
  • Experience overseeing capital improvement or renovation projects is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with computers for communication, reporting, and personnel management.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, staff, vendors, and the public.
  • Basic math and bookkeeping skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
