Lawn Care Technician

Location: Champaign, IL

Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable Lawn Care Technician to support landscaping and grounds maintenance operations in Champaign, IL. This role focuses on mowing lawns and maintaining outdoor areas while performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Shift & Pay

• Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using push mowers and riding mowers

• Weed eat, edge, and trim grass and landscaped areas

• Shovel, spread, and level mulch in flower beds and landscaped areas

• Remove weeds and maintain clean, well-kept outdoor spaces

• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials

• Perform physical labor in outdoor conditions while following safety guidelines

• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications

• Previous lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience preferred

• Ability to operate lawn care equipment safely

• Ability to shovel, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Attention to detail!

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial lawn care or landscaping crews

• Valid driver’s license
