This day-shift role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while delivering quality workmanship and dependable service in a fast-paced shop environment. Shift & Pay Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Pay: $20.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brakes, tires, and inspections Repair and replace components such as starters, alternators, belts, hoses, and suspension parts Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow shop safety procedures and industry best practices Communicate findings and repair needs clearly with the team Qualifications Previous automotive mechanic or technician experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable attendance and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Automotive certification or technical training Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models ASE certification (a plus, not required) Prior history working in automotive repair (Not just a lube technician) Benefits Summary Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Opportunities for overtime and skill advancement Work Environment Automotive repair shop Exposure to noise, grease, and varying temperatures #CHAMILST
