Express Employment Professionals in Maryville is hiring an Electrical Technician for our client, a well‑established heavy industrial facility in Alcoa, TN. This role offers competitive pay, long‑term stability, and the opportunity to work with advanced industrial automation systems.

Schedule

The Electrical Tech position operates on a 12‑hour alternating day schedule, and candidates must be able to work either of the following:

• 2-2-3 schedule
• 5-2 schedule

Additionally:

• Must be able to train on day shift
• Must be able to transition to night shift as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting across industrial equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs
• Support and lead industrial projects (approx. 40% of workload)
• Independently execute hands-on diagnostic and repair tasks (approx. 60% troubleshooting)
• Work with control systems such as Rockwell, ControlLogix, or Siemens

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (writing code & hands-on support)
• Experience with industrial control systems (Rockwell/ControlLogix or Siemens preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks with minimal supervision
• High School Diploma required
