Our client, a premier manufacturer and distributor for the construction industry in Northeast San Antonio, is seeking Injection Molding Process Technician with knowledge of construction field a plus. This is a long-term assignment with an opportunity to go permanent with the client. 1st shift pays $25+/hr., depending upon experience. Job duties for the Injection Molding Process Technician include:

• Verify that all mold, auxiliary equipment, materials, and injection molding machines are set-up per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Visual Operating Procedures (VOP) instructions to meet quality standards and production goal 

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot processing problems, perform preventative maintenance tasks, and document process changes.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner while handling production material. 
• Operate machines and package finished products when needed.
• Set up and start up molding machines and check products to ensure quality standards are met. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Injection Molding Process Technician are:

• HS or GED min
• Prior experience as a Processing Technician or equivalent preferred, at least 3-5 years of experience in plastics processing
• Working knowledge of mold changes, hydraulics, electrical and injection molding equipment and Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting using root cause analysis.
• Demonstrate support through interactions with solid communication skills, attitude, dedication, commitment, respect, pride, and trust.
• Can lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time with the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment/deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events

Hours for the Injection Molding Process Technician position Monday - Friday (Some Saturday OT may be available): 1st shift is 6am-2:30pm. This is a 90-day assignment with an opportunity to go permanent with the client.
