Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support daily operations at our steel manufacturing facility in Lindon, Utah. This position plays a key role in maintaining productivity, safety, and quality across the shop floor. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and able to accurately read a tape measure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general shop and production tasks as needed

• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure

• Handle, move, and organize steel materials and finished products

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Support machine operators and skilled trades as directed

• Complete tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure

• Strong reliability and punctuality (consistent attendance is critical)

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Willingness to perform physical labor in an industrial environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/steel shop environment

Preferred (but not required)

• Previous manufacturing or steel industry experience

• Basic knowledge of shop tools or equipment

Schedule

• Full-time - (Swing Shift) Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM
