Job Title: Cook

Location: Residential & Day Treatment Program
Pay: Starting at $22.30/hour (DOE)

Overview
We are seeking a dependable Cook to prepare nutritious meals for children and staff in our residential and day treatment programs. This role supports our holistic treatment philosophy and works closely with program leadership and support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare lunch and dinner meals according to established menu plans

• Assist with food ordering, delivery needs, and occasional food purchasing

• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure safe food handling practices

• Complete daily meal and food delivery documentation

• Coordinate with staff for special occasion meals

• Collaborate with the food services coordinator, dietitian, and support services team

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Combination of education, training, or experience in group meal preparation, menu planning, and dietary needs

• Current Oregon Food Handlers’ Card

• Valid Oregon Driver’s License

• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail

• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing, lifting, and operating kitchen equipment

• Commitment to creating a positive and healthy food experience for children

Compensation

• Starting wage: $22.30/hour, based on qualifications and experience
