Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm 

 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and a strong understanding of machining processes to ensure high-quality production.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts based on blueprints, drawings, or work orders.
• Set up and adjust machine settings, including back gauges, dies, and tooling, to meet specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot the press brake machine to ensure optimal operation.
• Monitor material handling and assist in loading/unloading materials onto the machine.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including machine settings, material usage, and production counts.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Must be able to read protractors, calipers and micrometers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience operating a press brake or similar machinery (minimum  3 years).
• Strong understanding of press brake operations, tooling, and machine setups.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
