The Machinist is responsible for producing precision parts by setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machining equipment. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, perform inspections, and ensure parts meet quality and safety standards.
Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machines
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
Make machine offsets and adjustments as needed
Identify and report nonconforming product
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Machining experience preferred
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Basic math and mechanical aptitude
Strong attention to detail
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
