The Inventory Specialist / Facilities Coordinator supports inventory control and facility operations for a distribution site in Yuba City, CA, while partnering with operations at an additional location. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory system data, executing cycle count programs, improving inventory accuracy, and supporting facility maintenance and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with a strong interest in operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
Maintain and update system data for parts, attachments, and finished goods
Develop and execute daily cycle counts based on ABC classification for machines, attachments, and spare parts
Review, analyze, and reconcile inventory variances
Assist in developing and improving inventory control procedures
Generate performance reports related to cycle count accuracy at defined intervals
Review inventory transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
Audit item master data to identify and correct inaccurate descriptions or stock numbers
Locate items with incorrect system locations or stock numbers to support order processing
Communicate with operations teams regarding inventory count adjustments and location changes
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts and audits
Partner with accounting during annual audits and assist with resolving billing discrepancies
Coordinate facility maintenance and repair needs
Manage vendor relationships related to facility services
Submit, track, and follow up on facility work orders
Ensure the site meets safety, compliance, and operational standards
Manage office supplies, utilities, and general administrative functions
Support a clean, organized, and professional work environment for employees and visitors
Experience with ERP systems (SAP SD, WMS, or similar)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation
Inventory control and cycle counting experience
Data analysis and reporting skills
High attention to detail with strong time management and organizational abilities
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Understanding of inventory processes and best practices
High School Diploma or GED required
