Duties

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations accurately and efficiently.
• Analyze financial information to determine tax liability and identify potential deductions or credits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering guidance on tax-related matters.
• Utilize accounting software and financial software to input data, generate reports, and ensure accuracy in filings.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for tax preparation.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the filing process.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and technical accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial software is essential.
• Excellent math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients' needs effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
