Position Summary:

The Production Associate is responsible for the production and/or packaging of a variety of manufactured products. This is a support role for several areas within manufacturing, specifically the molding and BCM areas. The position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures; and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of this job. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and stacking raw materials and finished goods.
• Execute and document quality inspections per SOP.
• Report defective materials, process, equipment or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed safety and housekeeping regulations.
• Fork lift operation.
• Knowledge of shipping with companies such as fedEX and UPS
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited learning institution
• Possess a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel between multiple sites.
• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Read, analyze and interpret written instruction
• Maintain production pace and standards
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Basic knowledge of computer skills
• Certified or become certified in operation of forklift
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with reasonable accommodation
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization
• Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization

 Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour
