2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (train on 1st shift for a week)
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (train on 1st shift for a week)
Are you an experienced Material Handler or Forklift Operator looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with long-term potential? A well-established, locally based manufacturing company is hiring 2nd and 3rd Shift Material Handlers to support its shipping and production operations. This company manufactures custom plastic parts and assemblies for the automotive, building, and consumer industries and operates in a high-volume production environment. They offer consistent schedules and a team-oriented shop floor where material flow and inventory accuracy are critical to success.
Deliver raw materials to production teams to prevent downtime
Remove, transport, and store finished goods from production areas
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts/hilo equipment
Perform all material moves using scanning systems to ensure inventory accuracy
Maintain proper container labeling and material coverage to prevent contamination
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
Keep work areas organized and free of material buildup
Follow all safety guidelines and demonstrated safe work practices
2+ years of forklift / Hi-Lo experience (required)
Strong attendance and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
100% shop-floor manufacturing setting
Standing, walking, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift
