Express is recruiting for a very part time Marketing Assistant to support the online marketing activity for a small business.  This is a remote position that will periodically connect in-person with the business owner to learn the resources available, style of messaging desired, etc. 

 

The schedule is flexible, typically about two hours of work per week, up to about 10 hours per month, likely with more hours toward the beginning of the month than the end. The Marketing Assistant will learn the vision of the business owner for the marketing schedule, then create content and schedule the posts and website updates that align with the vision.

 

Key Tasks

• Create content in line with the business’s vision using Canva
• Post on a schedule to Facebook and Instagram
• Keep website and e-commerce information up to date and accurate

Key Traits

• Experience with Facebook and Instagram is essential
• Experience specifically using social media platforms for work (paid or volunteer) is preferable
• The ability to use tools such as Canva to create social posts
• Experience with website and e-commerce maintenance, preferably WIX
• Ability to take a vision expressed verbally and/or in writing and implement it with minimal supervision
