Job Title: Yard Worker / Rental Support Associate

Pay: $18–$20 per hour (starting wage, based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Yard Worker to support daily operations at an equipment rental facility. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, combining yard work, basic equipment maintenance, and front-desk customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working both outdoors and indoors, takes pride in keeping things organized, and provides friendly, helpful service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with equipment rentals and returns

• Load and unload rental equipment safely

• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and inspections on rental equipment

• Help keep the yard, shop, and showroom clean and organized

• Provide customer service at the front desk, including answering questions and processing rentals

• Assist with inventory organization and general shop duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (with assistance when needed)

• Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn small equipment maintenance

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license preferred
