EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT IS NOW HIRING FOR PIPE LAYERS IN GOLDSBORO!
$16-$18/HR. STARTING PAY.
1ST SHIFT: 6am until finished.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair underground pipelines for water, sewage, and drainage systems
- Collaborate with the construction team to determine the layout and depth of trenches
- Dig trenches using various tools and equipment, such as backhoes and excavators
- Set up and operate pipe lasers to ensure proper alignment and grade of pipes
- Connect pipes using welding, cementing, or other methods
- Install and test valves, meters, and other pipeline components
- Inspect and repair existing pipelines for leaks or damage
- Backfill trenches and compact soil to ensure stability
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of utility locating and blueprint reading
- Proficiency in operating loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, and front loader trucks
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques for pipeline construction
- Ability to operate pipe lasers to ensure accurate pipe alignment
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Skid steer experience is a PLUS!
