Express Employment is seeking a Production Steel Laborer for a company in Sterling, IL!

Responsibilities of the Production Steel Laborer:

• Assemble and produce high-quality transformers according to specifications and production schedules
• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform routine quality checks and support basic equipment maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean workspace
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate production or safety issues

Requirements of the Production Steel Laborer:

• Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read measurements, BOMs, and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• High School Diploma or higher education

Compensation & Schedule details for the Production Steel Laborer:

• Full-Time
• Working 7:30am-3:30pm Monday -Friday
• $18.50/hour
