Summary
Claims and Data Processors serve as MBT’s primary resource for data entry, handling large datasets with efficiency and precision to ensure accurate and compliant documentation of services. Processors play a crucial role in helping the company's clients meet regulatory requirements for supporting documentation while also assisting internal teams with processes that optimize client reimbursements. As a leading technology and consulting organization in the education sector, the company relies on its Claims and Data Processors to uphold its mission and vision by implementing workflows that enable clients to maximize available reimbursement programs.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of previous data entry and clerical experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Able to learn and utilize software applications and other technologies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work from home with occasional travel for meetings or trainings
  • Ability to work between 20 and 30 hours per week
  • Ability to work a minimum of 2 consecutive hours per work shift

Responsibilities: Claims Processing and Data Entry

  • Maintain speed and accuracy according to expectations defined by the Data
  • Processor Manager
  • Apply knowledge of billing practices and LEA regulations to post services and track other documentation accurately
  • Analyze billing logs and other compliance documents to ensure program requirements are met
  • Research billing logs against previously logged services to ensure accuracy
  • Identify and input information from billing logs
  • Be knowledgeable and incorporate all the details of the billing process while entering data
  • Establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Perform a self-audit and correct errors
  • Document processes that are unique to specific clients for purposes of consistency and transparency
  • Safeguard all medical billing data in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Identify and communicate areas of needed improvement within the company's processes to build efficiencies for the company and its clients
  • Use the OptiSuite (OptiClaim, OptiLearn, File Processor, etc.) and other applicable software to produce
