Full Job Description
We are hiring a Purchaser for a growing company in Victoria, TX. This role is responsible for ordering materials and supplies, communicating with vendors, and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position may also require picking up materials locally as needed.
Essential Functions
• Create and track purchase orders (POs)
• Communicate with vendors/suppliers for pricing, availability, and lead times
• Request quotes and compare pricing
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve shipping/order issues
• Maintain purchasing records, invoices, and documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet material needs
• Assist with inventory tracking and reorder planning
• Pick up materials locally as needed
• Support daily office operations as needed

• Basic math and pricing comparison skills

• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• 1+ year of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or similar experience preferred
• Experience creating/tracking purchase orders preferred
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit/stand for long periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (as needed)
