Full time Direct hire - PAYROLL ASSISTANT

 

We are seeking a strong payroll assistant with 3-5 years experience, dealership industry would be a plus

Payroll assistant would need to learn all areas of payrolls and all department procedures, and handle onboarding and payroll for 8 companies.

 

This position is ideal for someone seeking along term career position, willling to learn over time the position which rpeorts to thte Payroll Manager - who will train the payroll assistant  to become a payroll manager, learning curve 3+ years to fully take on the role of the Payroll Manager.  There is a lot to learn, but plenty of time to learn it.

 

3-5 years of Payroll experience, msut have strong working knowledge of payroll systems, onboarding, benefit deductions, WC injury process, HR working knowledge, process terminations, cut checks to various entitites, process W-2's, quarterly reporting and other duties which will be required as part of the 'training' for promotion opportunity. Bilingual a plus.

 

 Looking to start at $65,000 annually. Full benefits offered.  Annual evaluations and pay raises accordingly.

 

Mon - Fri 8-5p.m. work schedule, year end closings may require extra hours.
