Position Summary

The company is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will lead a skilled maintenance team responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems that support daily production. You will oversee shift operations, allocate resources, ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards, and drive equipment reliability across the plant.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant maintenance environment by enforcing company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Supervise maintenance personnel, including selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.

  • Communicate job expectations clearly and provide ongoing direction, support, and accountability.

  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently by assigning work, monitoring progress, and resolving issues.

  • Support productivity and quality goals by maintaining equipment to required standards and addressing downtime promptly.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency-improving initiatives.

  • Execute shift operations by reviewing prior-shift reports, allocating resources, and ensuring continuity of maintenance activities.

  • Monitor maintenance services throughout the shift, reallocating resources as needed to meet operational demands.

  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including logs, reports, and maintenance records.

  • Support organizational success by assisting with additional tasks and responding to new or evolving maintenance needs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 5-8 years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple shifts and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
