Position Summary

This is a full-time, permanent position with a distribution center in Mattoon, IL. The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and partnering with warehouse operations to ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a data-driven, warehouse environment. Pay is $19/hr and this is a 1st shift position working Monday-Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm with some mandatory overtime as needed. Previous Forklift experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Perform and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts

• Research, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances

• Monitor inventory movements, adjustments, and transfers

• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and operations staff to improve inventory accuracy

• Prepare inventory reports and metrics for management review

• Ensure compliance with internal inventory control procedures and best practices

• Assist with physical inventories and audits as required

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
