Our client in Cedar Rapids is looking for a Wiring Assembly Technician

 

The purpose of this role is to support the assembly of industrial microwave ovens in a manufacturing environment. This role involves mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing assembly while following blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble industrial microwave ovens, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components
• Perform wiring and electrical assembly per schematics and blueprints
• Follow work orders and inventory control procedures accurately
• Use hand tools and basic mechanical tools safely and efficiently
• Follow written and verbal instructions to meet production standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

 

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and basic electrical circuits
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• General mechanical skills
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without restrictions
• Good attendance record
• High School Diploma or GED

 

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

 

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
