Salary: $19.00/hr.
We are currently looking for a qualified Freight Department Lead for a company located in Hardeeville.
Pay: $19.00/hr.
Schedule: M-F 8am-4pm
Job Responsibilities:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in freight, shipping, or logistics operations
Experience using freight or transportation management systems (e.g., Flying Fish or similar)
Ability to read, verify, and manage manifests and shipping paperwork
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Qualifications:
Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Excellent communication skills; comfortable speaking with truck drivers and carriers
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills (data entry, email, spreadsheets)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
