Bottling Line Mechanic

Spirits Manufacturing  

Local distributor currently seeking a skilled and safety‑focused Bottling Line Mechanic to support our spirits production and packaging operations. This role ensures that all bottling, labeling, and packaging equipment runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on bottling line equipment (fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, case packers, shrink tunnels, etc.)  

- Conduct equipment changeovers and adjustments to support different bottle sizes, closures, and packaging formats  

- Monitor line performance and quickly address mechanical issues to minimize downtime  

- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and follow preventive maintenance schedules  

- Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure smooth daily bottling operations  

- Uphold all safety, sanitation, and quality standards required in spirits manufacturing  

- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives  

 

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a bottling line mechanic, packaging technician, or maintenance mechanic  

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues  

- Familiarity with pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems  

- Ability to lift/move equipment parts and work on your feet throughout the shift  

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety  

- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team  

• Experience in a TTB‑regulated environment is a plus but not required
