Precision Grinder - Tool and Die Machinst

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Job description:

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate grinders to produce parts according to specifications
- Inspect and measure completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and repair tooling issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize tooling designs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker/ Machinist
- Proficient in using hand tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with surface, cylindrical, jig, and centerless grinding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

 

Our client is a small job shop in Lancaster Pa. They specialize in small lot, high precision, steel, aluminum and plastic parts. They work a four day work week, Monday through Thursday working 6:00am-4:30pm. Overtime may be available on Fridays if needed. A fully climate controlled facility.
