Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is seeking a Branch Manager for an AC, Refrigeration, and Heating Supply Company. This role oversees branch operations, sales performance, inventory control, and team leadership within a fast‑paced office/industrial warehouse environment.

Primary Duties 

• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring smooth workflow across sales, warehouse, and customer service functions

• Lead and support the inside sales team, assisting customers with HVAC/R product selection and technical questions

• Communicate confidently using HVAC, refrigeration, and heating terminology (residential + light commercial)

• Manage product lines including units, compressors, coils, furnaces, heat pumps, refrigerants (A2L transitions, EPA rules), controls, thermostats, parts, and accessories

• Forecast inventory needs, monitor stock levels, and implement shrink control and loss‑prevention practices

• Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient branch environment

• Model strong work habits — punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude

• Coach and develop team members; remain open to learning and adapting to the company’s leadership style

• Build strong customer relationships and support sales growth initiatives

Requirements

• Previous sales or customer service experience required

• Supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred

• Ability to work comfortably in an office/industrial warehouse environment

• Strong communication skills and ability to “speak the language” of HVAC/R

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to growth
