Join a fast-paced component and machine shop in Chesapeake, OH, where precision and craftsmanship matter! The company is seeking a MIG Welder to work on a variety of projects, fabricating and welding components to exact specifications. The company is willing to train the right candidate, so a basic understanding of welding and a solid foundation is all that’s required. This is a temp-to-hire position with overtime available after 30 days.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel and metal components for various projects
• Read and follow blueprints and project specifications
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Learn and apply new welding techniques as needed
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:

• Basic understanding and foundation in welding
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Ability to read basic blueprints preferred
• Must provide your own steel-toed boots and welding hood/helmet
• Other PPE and welding equipment provided
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on safety
