Position: DevOps Engineer – Contract

Location: Denver, CO

Salary: $124,000/Annually - $130,000/Annually | $60.00/HR - $70.00/HR

Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in-office weekly

Job Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Lead initiatives to design, enhance, and manage build and release pipelines for secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery
• Design and evolve the systems that support continuous integration, automated testing, and infrastructure as code
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless deployments, observability, and high system performance
• Develop and maintain internal tools and services that streamline operational workflows and improve developer productivity
• Monitor infrastructure performance and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
• Automate manual processes and contribute to system scalability, efficiency, and resiliency
• Maintain and optimize infrastructure in a Linux/AWS environment using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Contribute to CI/CD tooling and best practices across the engineering organization
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and performance at scale

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience DevOps in Linux, AWS environment
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development
• AWS
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent
• Javascript, Typescript, Node and Java (a plus)
• Ability to work in Denver near Coors Field 3 days a week
