Business Analyst

Salary: $33.00-$35.00

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for a part time remote Business Analyst! Candidates MUST live in Colorado Springs. The Business Analyst is a member of the Solutions Delivery team, coordinating activities with the Sr. Director of Strategic Growth and members of the Engineering team. This role bridges communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on process mapping, data analysis, documentation creation, and testing support.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of business analysis experience required
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Experience with process mapping and diagramming tools (Visio, Miro, LucidChart) a plus
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) preferred
• Knowledge of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), often using multiple sites
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and exceptional verbal/ written communication skills
• Ability to work from home 

Responsibilities:

• Establish professional, productive relationships with key customer personnel.
• Collect and document business needs and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between business users and IT/project teams.
• Collect, interpret, and analyze data to identify trends, insights, and patterns.
• Produce process documentation to map business processes and workflows.
• Assist senior Business Analysts, project managers, and other team members with planning, testing, and implementation.
• Foster an environment of teamwork, trust, encouragement, accountability, transparency, and a customer-first mindset.
• Interact with various functional areas to stay current on processes and initiatives.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
