Warehouse Assistant

Full Time

M-F 1st shift

Pay: $16-$20 Based on Experience

Responsibilities may include competency and accuracy in the following tasks:

 

Shipping and Receiving

Putting away stock in location

Picking and packing customer orders

Loading or assisting delivery drivers in loading delivery trucks

Assisting with unloading trucks with goods being received

Operating fork lift truck

Assisting customers at the counter

Hose assembly

Fabrication

Inventory counting

Housekeeping tasks

 

Requirements:

Reading and the ability to a read ruler

Chauffer’s license

Lift 50 pounds

Have reliable transportation

Reading and the ability to a read ruler

Some mechanical aptitude

Acceptable appearance and hygiene

Personal responsibility

Customer service mindset and enthusiasm for the job/work/team

 

 

Cross training as a delivery driver, or full time delivery driver:

 

Responsibility for daily accurate, on-time, satisfied-customer delivery

Proper handling of delivery paperwork:

Organizing delivery paperwork, gathering signatures, returning delivery copies to accounting

Staging shipments for the following days delivery route

Keeping the truck swept and clean, inside and out

Assisting the warehouse staff with pulling orders or any other task you supervisor asks you to do.
