Fleet Maintenance Technician

2nd Shift | Tuesday–Friday | 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Pay: $28.95–$34.00/hr + shift differential
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus (based on hours worked)

 

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local distribution operation to hire an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to support preventative maintenance and repair of fleet equipment and trailers.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles

• Service air conditioning systems, brakes, tires, and complete minor engine repairs

• Perform trailer maintenance including brakes, tires, and lift gate repairs

• Maintain accurate inventory control within the parts room

• Complete required DOT and internal maintenance documentation

• Follow all safety procedures and compliance standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• 3–5 years of hands-on diesel maintenance experience

• Experience with Detroit and Cummins engines preferred

• Strong attention to safety and documentation accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year technical or vocational degree

• ASE Certification
