FLEXOGRAPHIC PRESS OPERATOR – 2^ND AND 3^RD SHIFT

Job Highlights

• Shift: 2^nd (2PM-10PM, Mon-Fri) or 3^rd Shift (10PM to 6AM, Sun–Thurs)
• Pay: $20.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on flexographic printing experience
• Location: Green Bay, WI – east side.

Job Summary

The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and performance of narrow-web flexographic presses used in label and packaging production. This role requires strong hands-on experience with flexo printing processes, including UV and water-based inks, color matching, registration, and mechanical adjustments. The operator ensures products meet customer specifications while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Job Duties

• Set up and operate narrow-web flexographic printing presses to meet production and quality standards
• Run multi-color press systems including 10-color 13” waterbase and 8-color 17” full UV presses
• Operate equipment such as Nilpeter narrow-web UV ink roll-fed flexo and Mark Andy 10-color water-based flexo presses
• Monitor print quality, color consistency, registration, and ink performance throughout runs
• Perform mechanical adjustments and troubleshoot press or print issues to reduce downtime
• Manage material usage and minimize waste during setups and production
• Keep presses properly stocked and maintain smooth workflow with team members
• Follow safety procedures and support Lean Manufacturing, KAIZEN, and ISO quality initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of flexographic printing experience
• Experience with narrow-web label presses highly desirable
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing or ISO environments is a plus
• Related printing experience (wide web or offset) may be considered, but flexographic experience is strongly prioritized
