About the Position:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Mill Operator to join our growing team in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-precision components using CNC milling machines, ensuring that each part meets exacting quality standards. Principal Responsibilities:
• Interpret technical documentation such as blueprints, sketches, work instructions, manuals, and specifications to identify dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations required for each job.
• Set up CNC milling machines, selecting appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
• Operate machines to run production parts, consistently inspecting components throughout the process to ensure accuracy and adherence to tight tolerances, adjusting as needed.
• Monitor machine performance to identify signs of wear, potential malfunctions, or deviations from specifications, and take corrective action when necessary.
• Make minor edits to CNC programs at the control to resolve issues encountered during operation and save updated versions as needed.
• Ensure that all machined parts meet specifications outlined in the drawing documentation and quality standards.
• Accurately use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers and apply dial indicators for tasks like measuring bores.
• Safely lift and position parts using hoists, overhead cranes, or forklifts, following all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring machines are kept in good order.
